Bomb To Build
The creation of a consulting company by associates of the White House to assist in securing Iraq reconstruction contracts has been widely publicized recently. However, while only lies, greed, corruption and nonsense spew forth from this Administration (all widely covered), Sounding Stone wants to make certain that this latest batch go recorded. So, at risk of redundancy, here are some helpful links that point to this latest installment in the series of abusing positions of public power for personal gain...

Title 50, Chapter 36
Now that the Attorney General's road show is over, Sounding Stone thought it might be helpful to post a link to the act that set up the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in the first place...

Most Dangerous Game
To continue the series of man's perceived dominance over other creatures... Sounding Stone thought this was an activity native to Florida, but not so... If you haven't heard, the illustrious Governor of New York State vetoed a bill passed by both branches of the NYS legislature outlawing canned hunting. It seems the 'sport' of setting up exotic animals for slaughter within a confined area of more than 10 acres should be legal so as not to discourage tourists. Fred Le Brun offers a decent argument for allowing these businesses, unless you consider that the law only applied to exotic animals in confined areas. Sounding Stone believes Fred would approve of hunting humans for sport so as not to fall down a slippery slope... Although, it truly would be a shame if that poor farmer harvesting antler fuzz went out of business.

Chickens aren't people too
Started visiting the UPC online site after reading about a couple of California farmers putting 30,000 hens into a wood chipper with Department of Agriculture and American Veterinary Medical Association approval. It helps put into perspective how low Western Culture is in the Great Scheme of Things...

Sounding Stone continues the conspiracy theory series with a link to this summary of fatal plane crashes involving government officials and a companion piece refuting the conspiracy. As an added bonus, the most creative theory I've found yet, an Electro-Magnetic pulse weapon.
